just wanted to let you know that even though i got all five harry potter books for christmas, i did not accomplish any of the goals that i set out to accomplish over christmas break. funny how things work out like that, eh? but i did read tess of the d'urbervilles and sherlock holmes and the hound of the baskervilles. good books, now i am working on romola by george eliot and hoping i can finish before the class work gets too rough.
