we left from the dulles, washington d.c. airport (pictured left) in the afternoon, headed for zurich, switzerland. i sat next to a hippie-stoner named a.j. that was going to europe to backpack through the alps with his sister and his uncle. he was an interesting character. the eight hour flight was uneventful, and a little boring. i tried to sleep. i tried to eat airplane pasta that tasted like vomit and was probably the most disgusting meal i have ever had. worse even than the guinea pig. i tried to read. some guy told me that i look like drew barrymore. like i said, it was boring.
